I’m a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. My background is a mix of aesthetics, psychiatry, and family practice, which sounds like a strange combination until you sit in the chair with someone who wants to talk about their skin. So much of this work is about how people feel in their own face. The medical part is the easy half.

I wrote Skin Wyse because I was tired of the hype. Tired of watching patients arrive with a bag of expensive products that were working against them. Tired of the influencer routines that read like a chemistry experiment. Tired of friends asking me at parties what retinol they should buy and getting a five-minute lecture instead of a clear answer.

The book is the answer I’d give over coffee. This site is the same answer, available any time, with a chat that draws from the book chapter by chapter. Nothing on the chat side leaves your device. Nobody is logging your questions, including me.

Where I practice

I see patients at Sleek Aesthetics Medspa in Dallas, Texas. If you’re local and you’d like to come in, that’s the place. If you’re anywhere else, the goal of this site is to make you a better-informed patient at whichever provider you choose. A great injector or aesthetician with the right credentials beats a famous one every time.

What I won’t do here
