A Note Before You Start
The medical and educational boundaries for reading Skin Wyse.
This book is meant to educate, not diagnose. I'm a Nurse Practitioner, but I'm not your Nurse Practitioner. The information here reflects what I tell my patients, what I've learned from years of practice, and what the research currently supports. None of it replaces a one-on-one conversation with a qualified provider who knows your skin, your history, and your goals.
If something on your skin is changing, painful, growing, or just doesn't feel right, please see someone in person. A book can't look at a mole. A book can't biopsy a lesion. A book can't catch what an experienced set of eyes can catch in thirty seconds.
Use what's here to ask better questions and make more informed choices. That's the whole point.
